About us

We are an exciting mostly dsylexic :P group of young artists surported by Plymouth Arts Centre. Ideas buzz at our meetings which we have every week to bring our skills and techniques together. x

We need a new Chestnut Tree!

So I was walking past the Chestnut Tree Cafe; our former cozey spot to talk about arty stuff, watch arty movies and do arty art, and saw the insides being riped out ready for a remodeling. Sad times. For Plymouth to ever get any kind of creative communtiy going there deffinatly needs to be places to drink! Now Rambuntionus is gone to once a month even the regular Sunday slot is gone. Therefore I've been thinking of contenders for new unoffical meeting/drinking spots. Hows about this place?...Caffine Cafe. I was in there the other day and it's not that cheep, but worth it- mint hot choclate with moutains of cream mmmmmm. The regulars are hailarious, uni tutors/writers/intelectuals in thier 60s trauling the days papers. It's warm, cozy, has wireless internet and best of all within a 30sec walk of vintage shops. And even if it's closed (which it may be at night) it right accross the street from Goodbodys, wher there is good jazz and all night food!
